MultiQTC: The Best Benefit/Cost Solution for Large-Scale Excavators and Demolition Excavators

Introducing MultiQTC: The Best Benefit/Cost Solution for Large-Scale Excavators and Demolition Excavators

Faster is proud to introduce the MultiQTC series — a high-performance multiconnection system specifically engineered large-scale excavators and demolition excavators (20 to 50-ton class).

Designed to combine superior comfort with top-tier operational speed, the MultiQTC ensures that even the most demanding attachments operate at their full potential.

By offering a rapid attachment changeover at a fraction of the cost of fully automated "in-cab" systems, MultiQTC positions itself as the ultimate strategic choice for companies seeking efficiency without complex maintenance.

Product Benefits

  • High Flow Efficiency: Handles over 50% higher flow capacity at equivalent pressure drop compared to conventional connection interfaces, supporting heavy-duty attachments such as hydraulic shears, large concrete crushers and hydraulic hammers.
  • Dual-Hand Coupling Control: Auxiliary locking system on the fixed side allows precise, stable handling of the mobile unit during connections.
  • Total Lack of Oil Spillage: Integrated technology prevents hydraulic fluid leaks during connection, reducing environmental impact and replenishment costs.
  • Superior Operator Comfort: The system simplifies repetitive, strenuous tasks, transforming site work into a more sustainable and less fatiguing activity.
  • Optimized Jobsite Management: Ease of use encourages operators to always select the most suitable tool for each work phase, reducing component wear and fuel consumption.
  • Economic Advantage: A single large excavator can be used for multiple functions, significantly optimizing overall project costs and reducing the initial investment compared to automated alternatives.

Product Features

  • Heavy-Duty Architecture: Featuring the "QTC" series coupling, designed for extreme applications like high-productivity hydraulic shears and large concrete crushers.
  • Installation layout: setup of two MultiQTC parts (one on each side of the arm) to manage two primary work lines and two pilot lines.
  • Case Drain Integration: Each module includes a third housing for a quick coupling dedicated to the case drain circuit, essential for attachments with independent hydraulic motors.
  • Compact Lever Design: The optimized lever minimizes the risk of interference with hoses or debris during complex boom movements.
  • Contaminant Protection: The robust system provides total protection against water, dust, and site debris.
  • Field-Tested Reliability: Thousands of hours of field tests on prototypes have confirmed both mechanical durability and high operator satisfaction.

Main Applications

FAQ

MultiQTC provides much higher comfort of use with respect to individual couplings
Yes, it’s possible to install the locking mechanism on either side of the plate without ordering additional service part kits.
Due to the specific and critical nature of the applications MultiQTC was designed for, two locking mechanisms have been installed. These secure the lever both when the plates are coupled and uncoupled, ensuring the lever remains locked in the position that causes the least obstruction when the plates are disconnected. Operating the two locking mechanisms is very intuitive as they work alternately; when one is engaged, the other is not. This ensures the operator always knows exactly which one to activate
Two covers have been designed and will be available starting in early Q2 2026. The part numbers will be uploaded to the website
